national language

Every one should learn their own country's national (official) language. It's what unite us all

1 Observations
No need of national language so far India is concern

Best common thread will be best education to all citizens of India along with ethics, moral and value.
Language is just communication medium.

Idea is good....Is every state ready...

We have not given importance to Hindi.  Last many years we are only doing the Hindi workshop but never tried to improve the Hindi language.  We need to provide Engineering, MBA, MBBS & CA books in Hindi and stop the use of the English language then only Hindi will be popular. Hindi films and TV serials have done a good job.  We all Hindi speaking people are mainly responsible.

Take on the obsevations
It's a common thread like in mala or haar

Education is for individual and it has to be communicated to bring practical use out it
Proper communication removes confusion and hatred
Yes...for that best education is required to understand right morning of communication..
Education is panacea

English can run parallel
No use wasting national energy on something which has become part of our system
But Hindi is the binding factor and should be respected too
We watch Hindi movies listen to hindi songs....

Observation 2
Hindi is a parallel running because every Indian like to see Hindi Movies but talk in English or Regional language. In our hypocrite society, even many Hindi speaking people talk to their kids in English only. thanks for your view dear.

Take on observation
Let's accept the society as it is....After all its ours....Jaisa bhi hai acha hai....No one is perfect....We have to respect diverse thought processess...Learn and further spread the knowledge

Observation 3
छेत्रिय भाषा ही देश की धड़कन है

Reply
But we also need one common language as a nation

Observation 4

However I feel Hindi is voice of nation and doest not represent  a particular community or religion

We all belong to different caste....At home we all speak in our local language with parents and close relatives
But we need a national language which can bind this diverse and populous country

We all belong to different caste....At home we all speak in our local language with parents and close relatives
But we need a national language which can bind this diverse and populous country

So that the entire country can understand each other
If every one speak differently how they will understand each other

Imagine father mother children all speaking different language.....Staying under one roof

Observation 5
If you are going to any other region, learn language of that region, that's all

Reply
If I want to communicate with entire nation at one time....?

Should I repeat myself in all different language to communicate with brothers and sisters of our country

Observation 6
Current rules are sufficient, no need of national language

Reply
No need for any change of rules....People just need to know it... and respect it

Observation 7
I love listening various Indian lat, and want to learn at least one Indian language other than my mother tongue and Hindi

Reply
I also speak 4 langauge and keen to learn more

Currently learning Assamese .....A very beautiful language

During my last posting I learnt Odiya....A very sweet language

Observation 8
Vikash Agarwal Agreed. I m in Chennai, so I know how much it important to have a common language accross country....

Try Sanskrit..  why hindi?  because it came after Mughals?

Vikash Agarwal no. We can't hv a single language in this multi language country.

Sib Sankar Datta here lies the problem. The moment hindi speaking people get a chance they propagate thier language without caring for richness of other indian languages. They will not learn English too. They spread this hate campaign only bcoz they r weak in English.

Sir Hindi does not belong to a particular community or religion....It's the language of Bharat...Our country
I speak marwari at home....Spoke bengali odiya and now Assamese at office
Watch Hindi English Bengali movies and enjoy listening to hindi bangla rajasthani songs
But we need one common language for the nation....Other wise it will be like people in family speaking different language....Father speaking one Mother another and children another....If there is no single common language...How will they communicate and stand as a family....Same for the nation too

Observation 9
Just a bit of perspective.you're post just reminded me of this saying " without one state language, no nation can remain tied up solidly together and function.". Do you agree?

Reply

No denying that.....State language should be there .....Even some states have multiple language which differs on village levels....One hill different from another hills....We have several adiwasi language....Hundreds of them....People living in forest......They should all co exist...
But in addition to local languages we need one national language....

Observation 10

the statement i made was made by Mohd Ali Jinnah at dacca, in 1950 - 51. One language ended up breaking the country.

That was due to imposition of one language and undermine other languages
Other languages were considered inferior and by force one language was being imposed. People were forced to leave their language
Here in Bharat we are free to speak as many as language we want
What we want is a single language for common communication with all Bharatwasis
