Advance ruling in GST has clarified on many would be disputed issues bringing clarity for both assesses and department
However if non GST supplies are also integrated in the current GST portal and e invoicing wef 01012020 also includes non GST supplies then Government can save a lot of money in maintaining two parallel systems.
Payment and return of non GST supplies can be done through GST portal even though sales tax and excise is applicable.
C Form F form and other declaration forms can be easily monitored through e invoicing . when customer confirms it forms can be generated automatically and can be viewed from system.
Centralised payment system can be made for large companies which can file return and make payments centrally for registrations taken for all the states in India through bulk upload system. All the data will be available in e invoicing and only proper codes are required for uploading returns or making payment.
This will reduce cost, make procedures simple and introduce better control mechanisms.
