PSUs

Threats being given by private telecom operators.

There are very few business house who control the 80% wealth and therefore economy 

If one fall down the impact on economy will be immense and Govt performance will be questioned

Private companies do fall down badly. In Reliance we have apt example. If one brother is a success other is not that. In fact falling pvt sector brings huge exposure for country. Foreign equity and loan and give indirect access to these pvt firms which fall down

This is the reason we  need PSU. If BSNL is there their threat will not be effective.  If there is no PSU in this sector and considering it to be most essential in nature in modern times the bargaining power of privately owned organizations will be immense. IF Essential services like telecom , Oil , Transport, Food and Defence is operated by PSU then Govt is saved from possibility of arm twisting by few individuals who controls the Corporations
