Trinity

Mind at growing stage is Brahma. It is the creation stage. It is aggressive and trying to control things. It beloved nothing but self. It tries to control nature.

Vishnu is the stage of mind which plays with nature. It enjoys it.

Shiva is the state of mind where it realises the futility of it all and tries to renounce it. It draws away from it and hence tries to destruct whatever mind has created this far.

The point in life is not to satisfy hunger. The point of life is to outgrow hunger. Because the hunger cannot be satisfied we seek pleasure, we get it and then we get addicted to it. We keep wanting more and more of it which ultimately leads to unhappiness.

We seek happiness outside whereas the everlasting one is from inside.
